About the Organization:
Our client is a prominent charity dedicated to supporting kinship care in England and Wales. They provide essential financial, legal, practical, and emotional assistance to kinship carers, ensuring they receive the understanding and support they need throughout their journey.

Role Overview:

Prospectus is excited to assist our client in finding an outstanding Programme Manager to spearhead the implementation of a transformative national Kinship Care Training and Support initiative. This service is designed to offer a comprehensive suite of workshops and training events tailored specifically for kinship carers, available both online and in-person, alongside enhanced resources on a dedicated online support hub.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the programme, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee reporting processes and collaborate with the Executive Team, delivery partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the delivery of a high-quality service that meets the diverse needs of kinship carers while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in managing complex programmes with multiple components and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in methodologies for planning, monitoring, and controlling programme activities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to foster collaboration across various departments and with diverse partners.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the delivery of intricate programmes, including setup, service design, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation.

Additional Information:

We are particularly interested in candidates who have firsthand experience with kinship care, either as a kinship carer or having been in kinship care themselves, and who meet the essential skills and experience outlined above.
