Job Title: Trade Counter Sales Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Trade Counter Sales Assistant to support our trade operations at County Architectural Ironmongery Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth transactions and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in upselling products to customers to maximize sales opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Utilize basic maths skills to calculate prices, discounts, and quantities accurately and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide exceptional service and build strong relationships
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and orders
- Maintain high organizational standards in inventory management and order processing to ensure seamless operations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient trade operations and achieve business objectives
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends
