About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Operations Manager to join our team at RecSpec Recruitment Limited. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse, and assisting with health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve branch performance targets and provide cover in their absence.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a can-do, will-do attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Assist with the maintenance of high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Support the Branch Manager in the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a trade counter environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A full valid driving license and a forklift truck license (desirable).
  • Good IT skills and experience with trade counter software and systems.
