Job Title: Housing Support Manager

Our client, a leading provider in the social housing sector, is dedicated to addressing the shortage of quality housing for those in need of additional support.

Working closely with local authorities on a national basis, they aim to provide access to affordable, quality housing for vulnerable individuals.

The Housing Support Manager plays a key role in ensuring high standards of housing management and service provision to meet funding and contractual obligations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee service operations of a high-quality, needs-led support service working with individuals facing a range of challenges, including those with high drug and alcohol dependency, those who are deemed homeless and those affected by domestic abuse.
  • Direct line management responsibility for Senior Support Worker, Floating Support Workers & Housing Officer. Provide supervision, oversee complex casework, including child protection and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Work closely with other agencies and represent the service in multi-agency meetings.
  • Ensure services meet quality standards and that case records are maintained professionally and accurately.
Requirements:
  • Experience managing services for vulnerable individuals, preferably supported housing services.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Proven experience within the social housing sector including knowledge of housing benefits.
  • Strong administrative and people management skills.
  • Ability to manage crisis, safeguarding and complex casesituations.
  • Excellent communication, IT, and organisational abilities.
  • A DBS check issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service would be advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
