Position Overview:

We are in search of a Manager of Crew Training (MCT) to lead the CHC UK Flight Training initiative. The MCT will play a crucial role in upholding rigorous safety and compliance standards in our operations, collaborating closely with essential stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain a training framework that aligns with operational requirements
  • Enforce flight operations standards and protocols
  • Oversee and enhance flight crew training programs
  • Efficiently coordinate training initiatives
  • Establish proficiency benchmarks for flight crew
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Maintain ongoing communication with regulatory bodies
  • Manage and foster staff development
  • Integrate Safety Management System (SMS) principles within the organization
  • Collaborate with external partners for effective training delivery

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Significant experience in aviation management
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations
  • Proven experience in designing training programs
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Compliance with UKCAA Crew Training post holder criteria
  • IOGP certification for Captain in Oil & Gas operations
  • UK ATPL (H) with Instrument Rating
  • Current type rating on a CHC UK aircraft
  • Valid TRE/SFE or TRI/SFI on CHC UK aircraft
