Senior People Advisor - 12 Month FTC

The company is at a pivotal moment of its growth stage, undergoing transformation to support its scale ambitions. As a result, we are seeking a proactive and hands-on senior HR advisor to join us on a 12-month maternity cover to support the business during this change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the people and culture strategy as we shift to a product-led operating model, requiring a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle and various HR practices.
  • Lead on projects and support in driving cultural change and organizational excellence, with day-to-day responsibility of the HR generalist activity within the business.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any employee or manager HR queries and lead on all employee relations matters, including absence management, performance issues, disciplinaries, grievances, and other aspects of people management.
  • Coach line managers in the development of people management capability across the business, upskilling and empowering them to effectively manage their people.
  • Ensure that HR policies, practices, and procedures are clearly communicated and understood within the business.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of employee relations caseload, with support from the AVP, People Partner on complex cases.
  • Maintain the People Management toolkit for employee relations procedures.
  • Lead on delivering the Learning and Development plan, including conducting an annual learning need analysis and creating an organizational training plan.
  • Facilitate internal learning events and design content on HR topics as required.
  • Facilitate the annual performance review process and provide support to managers around career development conversations and quality objective setting.
  • Take responsibility for the annual performance review process, including collating relevant information for all employees and providing information to managers.
Requirements
  • An all-rounder generalist HR Professional with experience working across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of Microsoft applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with database management, ideally Workday.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and confidently managing People projects.
