Job Title: Aerospace & Defence Business Development Manager

Sharpsmart UK is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our fast-paced sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing purposeful relationships with stakeholders in the NHS and private healthcare sector to drive sales of our Sharpsmart services.

Your primary objective will be to maximise product sales by leveraging your high level of product knowledge and selling skills. You will interact with stakeholders to establish an informed knowledge of clinical data and the market, creating new business opportunities by investigating accounts and establishing relationships with relevant clinical and procurement stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise product sales through effective utilisation of product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Interact with stakeholders to establish informed knowledge of clinical data and the market.
  • Create new business opportunities by investigating accounts and establishing relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage territory by delivering strategic objectives into targeted accounts, delivering impactful and actionable meetings and presentations.
  • Liaise with internal teams to meet targets.
  • Identify further upsell opportunities within healthcare waste management consultancy and clinical waste collection services.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable success and proven experience in healthcare waste sales (3+ years).
  • Proven experience of working with NHS and/or private healthcare stakeholder groups in a sales/development capacity.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to effectively manage projects.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to identify knowledge gaps and development potentials.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays.
