Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a designated sales territory within the SMB sector, focusing on increasing Alteryx revenue through a network of Solution Providers.
  • Develop and nurture assigned partners to generate new business opportunities in both existing and new SMB accounts.
  • Establish strong relationships with partners at all organizational levels, including executive, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Train and empower key partners using Alteryx sales strategies and campaigns tailored for the SMB market.
  • Collaborate with partners to create demand generation initiatives and campaigns that build a robust sales pipeline to meet targets.
  • Support and guide partners in their sales efforts, including direct sales assistance, managing deal registrations, and conducting regular pipeline reviews.
  • Ensure accurate representation of all SMB sector opportunities in forecasting tools.
  • Become well-versed in the Alteryx Partner Program, including available resources for partners such as training and events.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities of various partners within the Alteryx ecosystem to enhance sales efforts in the SMB sector.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Direct Sales or Channel Sales, preferably within an enterprise software or data/analytics environment.
  • Proven ability to cultivate scalable partnerships with Solution Providers.
  • Familiarity with two-tier distribution partners is advantageous.
  • Experience in selling to the SMB sector with a focus on high deal volume and rapid sales cycles.
  • Strong negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to various management levels.
  • Proficient in coaching and mentoring sales teams within partner organizations.
  • Knowledge of key systems and tools relevant to sales operations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse internal and partner stakeholders.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for driving business success.
  • Exceptional planning and time management abilities.
