About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Older Persons community mental health services. As a Specialty Doctor, you will play a key role in providing medical and psychiatric support to Consultant Psychiatrists and working with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients and carers
  • Work in partnership to provide initial assessment and treatment initiation where appropriate
  • Ensure that people who use services, carers, and advocates are treated with respect and dignity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years' experience at Core Training level or above, with a minimum of two years in the relevant specialty. You will also need to hold registration with the General Medical Council with a license to practice and have/be eligible for approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act.
