Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist in Psychiatry to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a Medical Specialist, you will provide medical and psychiatric support to Consultant Psychiatrists and service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical and psychiatric support to Consultant Psychiatrists and service users
  • Encourage personal initiatives, research, specialist interests, teaching, training, supervision, and leadership
  • Support training towards MRCPsych for those without the qualification
  • Participate in our academic programme and teaching students in other professions
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality clinical care
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience at Core Training level or above
  • Registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to practise
  • Eligibility for approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act
