About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor to join our Older Persons community mental health services on a full-time or part-time basis. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide medical and psychiatric support to Consultant Psychiatrists and contribute to the management of service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients and carers, ensuring respect and dignity for all individuals.
  • Work in partnership to provide initial assessment and treatment initiation for patients referred to the service.
  • Engage with the development of your Job Plan and contribute to the growth and development of the service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 4 years' experience at Core Training level or above, with a minimum of two years in the relevant specialty. You must hold registration with the General Medical Council and have/be eligible for approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act. Possession of MRCPsych or equivalent is desirable.
