About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Property & Workplace team in Leeds as a Business Administration Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Property & Workplace teams, working towards the successful completion of a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Property & Workplace teams, including filing, scheduling, data entry, and finance support.
  • Deal with queries and requests from internal and external clients, and visitors at all levels.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing post, DX, and courier deliveries.
  • Manage records and archives, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with our e-filing policy.
  • Coordinate the distribution of external and internal deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Engage with approved suppliers to maintain stock levels within the office and department.
  • Produce high-quality hard copy documents in various sizes, using specialized software and equipment.
  • Scan and distribute documents externally or store them in line with our e-filing policy.
  • Manipulate and distribute electronic documents using OCR, indexing, and combining files.
  • Assist with meeting room bookings, including updating the system, catering, IT requirements, and setting up video conference facilities and WebEx meetings.
  • Create and amend documents within our firm's house style guidelines.
  • Open matters in our document management system and file documents within agreed protocols.
  • Assist with event organization and complete training to ensure both technical and personal skill development.
  • Undertake ad hoc departmental duties as identified by the manager.
About You
  • You will have a good level of IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite, and an understanding of file structures and a wide range of applications.
  • You will be confident and able to build trust and rapport to develop effective relationships.
  • You will be able to handle multiple priorities, working to sometimes conflicting timescales in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • You will remain calm under pressure and focus on continued personal development and ensuring all training requirements are up-to-date.
  • You will be polite, professional, and friendly, with good communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • You will have a customer service-focused approach and be enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • You will have good timekeeping and attendance.
