Job Overview:

  • Collaborate with the Engineering Director to provide training to the field engineering team, ensuring they meet industry standards.
  • Assist in managing remedial business, including quotations and project delivery, to drive business growth.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the standard of engineering recommendations to drive business success.
  • Contribute technically to the service quotations process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Offer guidance and support to back-office staff and Engineering Director, promoting a culture of collaboration.
  • Participate in customer site visits for quotation and sales, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and safety measures, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Implement improvement actions based on adverse events, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Contribute to safety management system reviews, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Ensure engineers receive adequate training for safe operations, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the Generator Industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent, with a strong foundation in technical principles.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously, with a strong sense of initiative and drive.
  • Experience in training delivery and proficiency in Microsoft tools, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies.
