About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Kendall Poole Consulting Ltd. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through new business development and key account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with target accounts, and convert new enquiries into orders.
  • Key Account Management: Retain and develop existing customer relationships, ensuring long-term growth and revenue.
  • Technical Sales: Communicate with customers at a technical and commercial level, understanding their requirements and selecting suitable products.
  • Proposal Development: Devise and present proposals to customers, including product demonstrations and evaluations.
  • Relationship Building: Build long-term customer relationships, gaining repeat business and driving revenue growth.
  • Digital Marketing: Utilize digital media and modern channels to grow the business, developing a strategy for social media, brand management, and positioning.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven technical sales experience, with a track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage objections and build strong relationships.
  • Education: Academic achievement in a business, marketing, or technical-related subject is desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the power or PPE industry sector or analogous field would be advantageous but not essential.
