The Greater Brighton Metropolitan College is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Manager to lead our SEND and Additional Support team. This position is crucial in ensuring that we effectively address the evolving educational needs of our diverse student population.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and coordinating in-class assistance for students with learning challenges.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the support services for students and collaborating with team members.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of GCSE qualifications at grade C or above (or equivalent), particularly in mathematics and English.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, or a commitment to obtain one.
  • Proven strategies for supporting students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs).
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviors, resolve issues, and make informed decisions.

Strong IT skills and excellent time management are essential for this role.
