The Greater Brighton Metropolitan College is seeking a Learning Support Manager to enhance our SEND and Additional Support team. This role is pivotal in addressing the evolving educational needs of our diverse student population.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and coordinating in-class assistance for students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the support services for students and collaborating with team members.

Applicants should possess a minimum of GCSE qualifications, grade C or above (or equivalent), particularly in mathematics and English, along with a degree or equivalent in a relevant field, or a commitment to achieve these qualifications.

Successful candidates will demonstrate effective strategies for supporting students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) and possess the skills to manage challenging behaviors, resolve issues, and make informed decisions.
