About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at 6124 TT Games Studios Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop infrastructure, providing top-notch support to our staff, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional IT services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-line support to staff, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record and track support requests, ensuring accurate documentation and procedures are up-to-date.
  • Manage and maintain our operating system images, ensuring seamless deployment and updates.
  • Perform workstation maintenance, deploying applications, correcting faults, and updating drivers and firmware.
  • Set up, update, and troubleshoot console platforms and mobile devices.
  • Transfer licenses between machines, ensuring compliance and up-to-date documentation.
  • Manage network services, including DHCP reservations, DNS records, and network security protocols.
  • Set up and maintain TeamCity agents and Unreal Horde agents.
  • Create and maintain Active Directory objects and documentation.
  • Audit systems for suitability, license compliance, and other critical factors.
  • Liaise with team members to ensure timely issue resolution and maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands on your time.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent documentation and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong focus on providing exceptional support to staff.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10, 11, and MacOS, as well as source control systems, Citrix, and Parsec.
  • Experience with Desktop PC hardware, LAN/WAN technologies, and remote administration tools.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and ITIL.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Windows Servers, Linux, and VMware experience.
  • Cloud technologies, such as AWS and Azure.
  • Switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Direct Attached Storage, Network Attached Storage, and Storage Area Networks.
  • Network security protocols, such as LDAP, RADIUS, and 802.1x.
  • Network monitoring protocols, such as SNMP and ICMP.

Working Arrangements
