About the Role

The HR Business Partner is a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. As a senior HR professional, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the Trust's business objectives and workforce plans.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including employment law, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and managers to identify and address HR-related issues and opportunities, and develop solutions to improve HR processes and practices.
  • Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders, managers, and employees.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to managers and employees to improve their HR skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that support the Trust's business objectives and workforce plans.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions and improve HR outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as HR, business, or organizational development.
  • Significant experience in HR, including experience in a senior HR role or as a HR business partner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex HR data and develop solutions to improve HR outcomes.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop HR strategies that align with the Trust's business objectives and workforce plans.
  • Experience of working in a large, complex organization, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
