Job Summary:

Cobb & Jones Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to support our clients' Finance team in processing weekly and monthly payrolls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate calculations of all payments and deductions, as well as maintaining payroll records for completeness and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process company payrolls, ensuring accurate calculations of all payments and deductions.
  • Check and process timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all relevant payments are made according to set timescales, to both employees and other appropriate entities.
  • Prepare and issue periodic or occasional payroll documentation, such as P60's and P11D's.
  • Keep up to date with any legislation changes and provide training to staff as necessary.
  • Assist with the year-end audit process and perform ad hoc tasks as directed by the Payroll Coordinator or Financial Controller.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of processing a payroll from start to finish, as well as an understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
  • Calculation of PAYE, NI, Pension auto-enrolment, RTI, and statutory payments.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, weekly and monthly.
