We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our client's team in Gillingham, Kent. This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced individual to work with a growing and thriving manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities- Process company payrolls, ensuring accurate calculations of all payments and deductions.
- Check and process timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all relevant payments are made according to set timescales, to both employees and other appropriate entities.
- Complete necessary payroll month-end reconciliations.
- Process the company pension schemes according to auto-enrolment legislation and ensure accurate submissions within deadlines.
- Process payroll year-end reporting according to relevant legislation and within deadlines as set by internal and external requirements.
- Prepare and issue all relevant periodic or occasional payroll documentation, such as P60s and P11Ds, according to HMRC or other deadlines.
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel for payroll calculations and reporting.
- Previous experience of running end-to-end payroll.
- Strong communication abilities to interact with staff and members effectively.
