About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, mental health issues, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to individuals with complex needs, including physical and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and household management.
  • Support individuals in the community, engaging in activities such as bike rides, swimming, and shopping.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals, promoting independence and choice.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full UK driving license (manual license required).
  • Have experience working with individuals with autism, mental health issues, and learning disabilities.
  • Be able to think on your feet and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed to continuous personal development and learning.
