About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, mental health issues, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism and other disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
- Support individuals with complex needs, including physical and learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless service
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Manual driving license (essential)
