As the Assistant Head of Housekeeping, your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Executive Head Housekeeper to establish, oversee, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service. Your keen attention to detail will guarantee that our guests experience impeccably clean accommodations and unforgettable moments during their visit. You will also act as the Head Housekeeper in their absence, managing team supervision and controlling housekeeping expenses to align with business forecasts and maximize profitability.

Leading by example, you will cultivate a warm and inclusive environment where team members feel valued. By fostering genuine relationships with your colleagues, you will inspire them to take pride in their contributions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, ideally in a comparable role within a similar-sized property, although we welcome applicants seeking to advance their careers.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent level of service under the demands of guest expectations, always with a focus on detail.
  • Proficiency in IT; familiarity with Opera and Fourth Hospitality systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including health and safety regulations, COSHH, environmental health, and fire safety.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional service.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage work schedules effectively to meet operational needs.
