As the Assistant Head of Housekeeping, your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Executive Head Housekeeper to establish, oversee, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service. Your meticulous attention to detail will guarantee that our guests experience impeccably clean accommodations and unforgettable moments during their visit. You will step in for the Head Housekeeper as needed, managing the team and controlling housekeeping expenses in alignment with business forecasts to maximize room division profitability.

You will lead by example, cultivating a warm environment where team members feel valued. By nurturing authentic relationships with your colleagues, you will foster a sense of belonging and empower them to take pride in their contributions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector, ideally in a comparable role within a similar-sized property; however, we welcome applicants eager to advance their careers.
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality service under the demands of guest expectations, always with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in IT; familiarity with Opera and Fourth Hospitality systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including health and safety regulations, COSHH, environmental health, and fire safety.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to maintain a consistent level of service.
  • Well-organized with effective time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing work schedules to meet operational needs.
