About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Delivery Driver/Picker. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering frozen meals to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Pick orders within the coldstore and ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment
  • Use our app to update customers on delivery status and provide exceptional customer service
  • Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van and ensure safe and responsible driving practices
  • Clean and refuel your van as needed and maintain a high level of vehicle presentation
  • Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays and ensure customer confidentiality
  • Assist the office team and picking team as needed and report any health and safety, stock quality, or mechanical issues
  • Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong customer service background and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will need to have a full UK manual driving licence and basic computer literacy, including the use of phone apps. Experience within a customer service-based role and a basic secondary education are also essential.

Desirable qualities include experience of multi-drop delivery roles, experience within a care-based role, warehouse experience, and health and safety awareness. You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 3 years and be willing to undergo a driving assessment, driving licence checks, and DBS checks.
