The South division of Crest Nicholson is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator to enhance the Technical team. This position will primarily focus on projects related to Fire Remediation.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Technician looking to advance and evolve into a long-term career with Crest Nicholson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Technical Management team with technical evaluations, ensuring that cost assessments for potential development sites are completed within designated timelines.
  • Ensure that the site is adequately serviced and can be constructed upon, as required.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities, providing necessary documentation and drawings pertinent to contracts and sites.
  • Develop comprehensive Design schedules, managing the production information to align with the company's business objectives.
  • Support the management of Technical and Services budgets.
  • Report all technical design issues encountered during construction to the Technical Managers.
  • Maintain an awareness of current material and construction research, offering recommendations or alerts as necessary.
  • Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to uphold Professional Status and stay informed about industry advancements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical experience in Engineering, preferably from an Architectural Consultancy or Developer background.
  • Prior experience in the House Building or Construction industry.
  • Familiarity with Fire Remediation projects.
  • A degree in relevant fields such as Architecture, Design, Planning, Civil Engineering, or the Built Environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in interpreting complex technical drawings and plans.
  • Able to cultivate and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC standards.
  • Proficient IT skills.
