The South division of Crest Nicholson is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator to become a vital part of the Technical team. This position will primarily focus on projects related to Fire Remediation.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Technician looking to advance and cultivate a long-term career within Crest Nicholson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Technical Management team with evaluations of technical aspects, ensuring that cost assessments for potential development sites are completed within specified timelines.
  • Ensure that the site is adequately prepared for servicing and construction as required.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities by providing necessary documentation and drawings pertinent to the projects.
  • Develop comprehensive Design schedules, managing the production of information to align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Support the management of Technical and Services budgets.
  • Report all technical design issues encountered during the construction phase to the Technical Managers.
  • Maintain an awareness of current materials and construction research, offering recommendations or alerts as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to uphold Professional Status and stay informed about industry advancements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical experience in engineering, preferably from an Architectural Consultancy or Developer background.
  • Prior experience in the House Building or Construction sector.
  • Familiarity with Fire Remediation projects.
  • A degree in relevant fields such as Architecture, Design, Planning, Civil Engineering, or the Built Environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in interpreting complex technical drawings and plans.
  • Able to foster and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC standards.
  • Proficient IT skills.
