Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Financial Secretary to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the Director and Office Manager
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for limited company clients
  • Set up and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other software packages
  • Ensure the daily running of the office, including reception and meeting room duties
  • Visit the Post Office for recorded post and stamps
  • Maintain office equipment and ensure general office upkeep and tidiness
  • Provide secretarial cover and work with other Secretaries and Office Manager to achieve goals
  • Keep the company's website up to date

Requirements:

  • GCSE level (or equivalent) minimum, with grades A-C to include English and Maths
  • Strong IT skills, with an aptitude towards spreadsheets, databases, and word processing (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Awareness of risk management and compliance
  • Understanding of requirements under the Data Protection Act
