Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with merchants, agriculture, and industrial customers in the Yorkshire and East Midlands region, selling a full range of PPE and workwear.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet Sales Targets
    • Consistently achieve monthly sales targets
  • Grow the Territory
    • Set and initiate growth plans for the future of the territory
  • Prospect and Nurture
    • Prospect, identify, and nurture your own pipeline
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure high levels of customer service and establish strong relationships with customers
  • Administration
    • Ensure good administration and maximise efficiency and service
  • Follow-up
    • Follow through on all opportunities
  • Time Management
    • Book your own appointments and manage your time effectively
  • Journal Planning
    • Journal plan to ensure minimal time in the car
  • New Product Introduction
    • Introduce new products to your customer base
  • Reporting
    • Produce weekly sales reports
  • Customer Presentations
    • Take customers to the showroom in the North West to present products
  • Cost Reduction
    • Where possible reduce travel/accommodation costs

About the Role

This is a field sales role that requires the ability to work independently and be results-oriented. The successful candidate will have previous experience in face-to-face business-to-business sales and territory management. They will also have had previous exposure to selling workwear, either with a manufacturer or distributor.

    • Results-oriented and focused on securing new clients, retaining, and growing a profitable account base
