Management Accountant Opportunity

Axion Moore is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their Central Leeds team. As a key member of the Senior Finance Team, you will play a crucial role in developing the management accounting and business partnering function.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Senior Finance Team to drive the management accounting and business partnering function.
  2. Work closely with the Group FC on month-end accounts routine, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal preparation and posting, management accounts production, and sales and margin reporting.
  3. Support purchase ledger activities, including checking invoice batches, reconciling accounts, liaising with suppliers, and preparing payment runs.
  4. Contribute to credit control activities with the Group FC.
  5. Verify credit card expenses.
  6. Post bank accounts and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  7. Support year-end accounts and audit pack preparation.
  8. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
  1. Part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
  2. Experience in a management accountant role or similar position with notable experience in preparing monthly accounts to strict deadlines.
  3. Desirable to have experience of preparing monthly accounts for various sites, units, or cost centers.
  4. Proven stakeholder management and/or business partnering skills across the wider business.
