The Client Relationship Manager will deliver exceptional service to clients in collaboration with Private Bankers, focusing on Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI). This role requires a robust understanding of investment strategies, product offerings, and transaction oversight while ensuring adherence to all reporting and regulatory standards.

Additionally, the position entails overseeing the daily operations of the Client Relationship team, partnering with the Business Manager to enhance team capabilities, foster professional growth, and ensure performance aligns with the highest benchmarks and internal protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Outstanding Client Service

  • Surpass client expectations by thoroughly understanding their challenges and offering innovative solutions.
  • Assist Private Bankers in identifying new opportunities and deepening relationships with existing clients, maintaining regular communication to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  • Aid in the execution of tailored account strategies, proposing solutions, and negotiating standard transactions.
  • Collaborate with Private Bankers, clients, product specialists, and support teams to implement client decisions and ensure effective follow-up.

Team Leadership

  • Provide daily leadership to the Client Relationship team, offering guidance, customizing development plans, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Oversee administrative HR functions, including performance evaluations and recruitment processes.
  • Work closely with the Business Manager to align team objectives.
  • Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

Ensure Compliance and Efficiency

  • Guarantee adherence to all legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions and servicing clients, escalating and managing any risk or control issues.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive client information.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes for enhanced efficiency.
  • Stay informed and adapt to changes in business processes and policies.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven track record in private banking support roles with direct client interaction.
  • Extensive familiarity with all banking systems, platforms, and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving performance outcomes.

Skills:

  • Highly adaptable with strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to cultivate effective working relationships with clients and across various organizational levels.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve processes within one's area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • A recognized background in banking, particularly in front office, investments, and transaction management.
  • A solid understanding of operations within a complex systems environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
