We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join our team at Corporate Travel Management (CTM) UK. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level customer service to clients, ensuring that their travel requirements are met with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Assist with emergency actions, contingency plans, and out-of-hours requirements to ensure seamless travel experiences for our clients.
  • Ensure that client travel policies are adhered to correctly, maintaining the highest level of compliance and accuracy.
  • Meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and business stakeholders regarding client activity, including positive and negative feedback, client complaints, and other relevant information.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the relevant offices, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks, both internal and external, are completed to the highest standard, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide support and assistance to colleagues as required, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Assist with all reservations and aspects of travel, including air, hotel, rail, and car reservations, as well as other travel-related requests received from clients and partners.
  • Offer expert travel advice for various scenarios, providing solutions and recommendations to meet client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with all operational working practices, ensuring that you are fully conversant with the latest procedures and protocols.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, willing to work flexible hours as required to meet client needs and business objectives.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required, prioritizing business priorities and responding to reasonable requests from managers and other departmental managers.
Requirements
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to remain calm and patient in high-pressure situations.
  • Proven attention to detail and quality standards, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Extensive industry experience in all areas of the reservation process, with a deep understanding of travel management operations.
  • Sound, proven skills in Sabre or Galileo GDS, with an excellent understanding of fares and ticketing.
  • Ability to turnaround fare recalculations and ticket reissues quickly, with a strong focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach to client servicing and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Adept in using Microsoft Office software, with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency.
  • Proven advanced industry experience in all areas of travel management operations, with a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities.
  • Sound, proven skills in Sabre, with the ability to manage multiple reservations and PCCs.
  • Excellent understanding of fares and ticketing, ideally to BA1/2 level or equivalent.
