Job Title: Children's Home Manager

CSG Recruitment Solutions is seeking an exceptional Children's Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a children's home, ensuring that all Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) children receive the necessary support as they begin their resettlement journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices, and coordinating staff to provide comprehensive support to UAS children.
  • Ensure that all UAS children receive the necessary support, guidance, and care during their stay.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the well-being and resilience of UAS children.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to supporting UAS children.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics related to the children's home and its operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a children's residential setting, preferably at Team Leader/Manager level.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection legislation.
