Exciting Opportunity for Children's Home Managers

CSG Recruitment Solutions is seeking exceptional Children's Home Managers to join our client, Kent County Council, in a new and exciting opportunity.

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Residential Children's Home Managers to oversee the daily operations of a children's home, ensuring that all Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) children receive the necessary support as they begin their resettlement journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices and coordinating staff to provide comprehensive support to UAS children.
  • Ensure the daily operations of the children's home run smoothly, providing a safe and supportive environment for UAS children.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the emotional and practical needs of UAS children.
  • Work closely with the local authority and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for UAS children.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a Children's Residential setting, preferably at Team Leader/Manager level.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
