CSG Recruitment Solutions is seeking an exceptional Children's Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a children's home, ensuring that all Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) children receive the necessary support as they begin their resettlement journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices and coordinating staff to provide comprehensive support to UAS children.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support the emotional and practical needs of UAS children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support to UAS children, ranging from practical guidance and learning to emotional care during their stay.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing children's care and welfare.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Children's Residential setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a Team Leader/Manager role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing children's care and welfare.
