**Job Title:** Senior Residential Support Worker

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Compass Children's Homes. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential settings.

**Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of Support Workers to deliver exceptional care and support to children and young people.
  2. Assess and meet the individual needs of children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  3. Develop and implement behaviour management plans to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.
  4. Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and education staff, to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.

**Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations, including out of hours.
