Job Opportunity: Children's Home Manager

Career Advancement in Children's Residential Care

We are seeking an experienced Children's Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a children's home, providing comprehensive support to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) children as they begin their resettlement journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in children's residential care
  • Coordinate staff to provide emotional care, practical guidance, and learning support to UAS children
  • Ensure the home provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Children's Residential setting, preferably at Team Leader/Manager level
  • Ability to work with children seeking asylum, providing emotional support and guidance
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality care

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary of between £32,933 and £37,188 per annum
  • Full induction and training opportunities
  • Annual leave allowance of 29 to 30 days, plus bank holidays and an extra day off at Christmas
  • Relocation packages up to £8,000
  • Excellent local government pension scheme
