About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Felbrigg House, a specialist care home providing support for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service, working closely with the Registered Manager to lead the nursing team and provide high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in preparing for contract reviews and representing the organisation in respect of service delivery.
  • Support the Registered Manager in creating, maintaining and enhancing productive working relationships within the home.
  • Ensure the appropriate number and skill mix of staff on duty at any given time, subject to company protocol and the needs of the service users.
  • Plan, implement and monitor the Person-Centred Approach to care within the home.
Requirements
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards.
  • An excellent track record in a senior role within the healthcare sector.
  • An understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy and sensory processing issues.
  • A passion for improving clinical quality and care.
  • Strong leadership skills.
