About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Felbrigg House, a learning disability and autism service that provides support for individuals with complex needs. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service, working closely with the Registered Manager to lead the nursing team and provide high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager to lead the nursing team and provide high-quality care and support to service users.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are person-centered and meet the individual needs of service users.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that service users receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a senior role within the healthcare sector, preferably in a learning disability and autism service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with service users, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
