About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Felbrigg House, a specialist care service for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in leading the team and providing strategic direction for the service.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are person-centered and meet the needs of our service users.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a senior role within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and sensory processing issues.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A passion for improving clinical quality and care, with a commitment to person-centered approaches.
