Job Summary:

Vanta Staffing Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join their team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's supply chain and procurement processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to source and purchase materials, considering factors such as stock levels, lead times, budget values, and storage space.
  • Source and purchase goods and services required, including negotiation of terms.
  • Create purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers through effective communication and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards are met.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations based on analyzed procurement data.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in meetings and provide updates on procurement activities.
  • Utilize SAGE MRP system on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Education to a degree level.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in procurement.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a numerate ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal team.
  • Driven for success and results.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient with SAGE or an equivalent procurement software system.
  • Good I.T skills, including Microsoft Office, with a high level of ability in Excel.
  • Responsible and reliable.
