Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Director of Financial Operations who excels in communication and is skilled at engaging with mid- and senior-level management across various departments. This role will be based at our corporate headquarters and will oversee a team of management accountants.

The Director will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring our sustained financial viability and success. Reporting directly to the executive leadership, you will manage all financial activities, including accounting, reporting, process enhancements, audit preparations, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Financial Operations will collaborate closely with the executive team to define and articulate the company's financial objectives while ensuring the organization’s long-term fiscal health. You will contribute to the achievement of both immediate and broader organizational goals by providing insightful advice on financial strategies.

Your role will involve developing and implementing the annual business plan, producing budgets aligned with the company’s strategic vision and anticipated expenditures. You will maintain a keen awareness of current trends and best practices within the luxury sector to maximize productivity and efficiency. Leading by example, you will embody our standards and corporate culture.

Working Schedule

This is a full-time role, typically operating Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated success as a Director of Financial Operations or Financial Controller
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, FCA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and data-driven decision-maker
  • Unwavering integrity and honesty
  • Extensive experience in senior-level accounting and leadership
  • Current knowledge of the luxury hospitality sector
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • High resilience and adaptability
  • Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to accounting
  • Proficient in IT and modern accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in managing large datasets
  • Familiarity with financial systems and processes is advantageous
  • Understanding of service charge management
