Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative services to the Trauma department
  • Develop close working relationships with secretarial colleagues and other staff within the department
  • Ensure accurate and timely typing of correspondence and other documents
  • Deal with sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Maintain and promote the professional image of the Trauma department and Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare agencies and departments to maintain good communication links

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience of working in an NHS or healthcare environment

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and other software programs
