We are seeking a Senior Installation Methods Engineer to join our Installation & Project Engineering Department within the Global Project Centre - West. In this role, you will take charge of the installation processes for subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and umbilicals. Your responsibilities will include preparing the project scope and providing support to the offshore teams during operations, ensuring effective communication with clients, suppliers, offshore personnel, and the design team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of engineers and manage specific project packages,
  • Oversee all external interfaces with clients and suppliers, as well as internal interfaces with other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, and procurement,
  • Prepare documentation and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects developed by the organization,
  • Operate autonomously while supervising engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of products,
  • Plan, prepare, and validate specific procedures (including site validation tests, transportation, and installation) along with associated calculation notes (design of lifting slings) to establish priorities,
  • Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases to validate technical solutions while adhering to Group HSEQ standards,
  • Ensure compliance with Project standards regarding Quality, Cost, and Time,
  • Act as the technical owner, selecting contractors and overseeing subcontracted studies,
  • Validate concepts and plan changes in accordance with HSEQ criteria,
  • Validate developments and suggest appropriate improvements while considering Group HSEQ standards,
  • Contribute to the development and advancement of our team,
  • Support the consolidation of the installation team's expertise,
  • Propose innovative solutions aimed at cost reduction.

Desired Experience:

  • A Master's degree in Engineering along with relevant experience in the energy sector,
  • Experience in Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals is essential,
  • Mooring Installation and other relevant experience is advantageous,
  • Familiarity with Offshore Operations,
  • Strong autonomy, coordination, and communication skills are vital for success in this role,
  • Proven experience in leading teams,
  • Proficiency in English is required.
