Finance Administration Assistant - PAYE

Lorien is seeking a Finance Administration Assistant eager to advance their career in the financial sector.

Hybrid work model - 3 days in the office

Standard work hours - 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance and reconciliation of cashbooks
  • Providing insights into daily bank balance fluctuations
  • Reconciling remittances and cash inflows from financial providers
  • Allocating client payments received via credit/debit cards
  • Engaging in credit control activities, including contacting clients for outstanding debts, conducting thorough reviews of debtor reports, and participating in weekly discussions regarding debtor status
  • Handling reconciliations, resolving queries, and processing payment requests
  • Managing the complete accounts payable process, including logging invoices and expenses for approval and ensuring timely settlements
  • Preparing journals for prepayments, depreciation, and accruals
  • Conducting month-end reconciliations and monthly profit and loss analysis

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a regulated financial environment
  • Capability in producing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Experience with supplier reconciliations and maintaining an accurate purchase ledger
