About the Role
Page Personnel Finance is seeking a highly skilled and organized Legal Secretary to join our team. As a Legal Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our lawyers and clients by providing administrative assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Service: Provide exceptional client service by communicating with clients, responding to their inquiries, and arranging meetings.
- Document Management: Accurately transcribe legal documentation, meeting/attendance notes, and other correspondence using our digital dictation system.
- Case Management: Utilize our case management system to update and manage legal documents and information efficiently, ensuring timely opening and closing of client files.
- Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of relevant forms, using online portals and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Office Tasks: Perform general office tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and invoicing, to maintain a well-organized and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous legal secretarial or other relevant experience in a legal administration role.
- Skills: Excellent people skills, confident, and able to work as part of a bigger team; strong general administrative skills; excellent communication and client service skills; excellent telephone manner; calm under pressure, good organizational skills, and excellent time management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft platforms, including Word, Outlook, and other relevant software; working knowledge of online digital dictation systems.
