Lorien is seeking a motivated Finance Administration Assistant to join our team, offering an opportunity to enhance your career in the financial sector.

Flexible working arrangements - 3 days in the office

Standard working hours - 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance and reconciliation of cashbooks
  • Provide insights into daily bank balance fluctuations
  • Reconcile incoming payments and remittances from financial partners
  • Allocate client payments processed via credit or debit cards
  • Engage in credit control activities, including contacting clients for outstanding payments, thorough analysis of debtor reports, and regular discussions regarding debtor status
  • Handle reconciliations, resolve queries, and process payment requests
  • Manage the complete accounts payable process, including logging invoices and expenses, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring timely payments
  • Prepare journals for prepayments, depreciation, and accruals
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations and prepare Monthly Profit & Loss analyses

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a regulated financial environment
  • Ability to produce monthly bank reconciliations
  • Experience with supplier reconciliations and maintaining an accurate purchase ledger
