Finance Administration Assistant - PAYE

Lorien is seeking a Finance Administration Assistant eager to advance their career in the financial sector.

Hybrid working arrangement - 3 days in the office

35-hour work week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance and reconciliation of cashbooks
  • Provide insights into fluctuations in daily bank balances
  • Reconcile payments and cash received from financial partners
  • Allocate client payments made via credit/debit cards
  • Engage in credit control activities, including contacting clients for outstanding debts, thorough analysis of debtor reports, and conducting weekly discussions regarding debtor status
  • Handle reconciliations, resolve queries, and manage payment requests
  • Oversee the complete accounts payable process, including logging invoices/expenses for approval and ensuring timely settlements
  • Prepare journals, including prepayments, depreciation, and accruals
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations and monthly profit and loss analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a FCA regulated environment
  • Ability to produce monthly bank reconciliations
  • Experience with supplier reconciliations and maintaining an accurate purchase ledger
