Finance Administration Assistant - PAYE
Lorien is seeking a Finance Administration Assistant eager to advance their career in the financial sector.
Hybrid working arrangement - 3 days in the office
35-hour work week
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance and reconciliation of cashbooks
- Provide insights into fluctuations in daily bank balances
- Reconcile payments and cash received from financial partners
- Allocate client payments made via credit/debit cards
- Engage in credit control activities, including contacting clients for outstanding debts, thorough analysis of debtor reports, and conducting weekly discussions regarding debtor status
- Handle reconciliations, resolve queries, and manage payment requests
- Oversee the complete accounts payable process, including logging invoices/expenses for approval and ensuring timely settlements
- Prepare journals, including prepayments, depreciation, and accruals
- Conduct month-end reconciliations and monthly profit and loss analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a FCA regulated environment
- Ability to produce monthly bank reconciliations
- Experience with supplier reconciliations and maintaining an accurate purchase ledger
