Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Agent to join our IT Help Desk team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Service Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for staff experiencing IT issues, providing timely and effective support to ensure minimal disruption to our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming staff queries and requests via telephone, live chat, and online portal
  • Manage computer access and create NHS Registration Authority Accounts and Smartcards
  • Liaise with technicians and other IM&T staff to progress IT user requests
  • Support the creation of guidance and process documentation
