About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our Clubcard leadership team, you will provide financial support and expertise to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the largest investment spend within the Customer area, exceeding £400m.
  • Partner with the Director and wider Membership & Loyalty leadership team to inform financial decision-making and drive key business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Trade and CRM teams to optimize Sales performance across various activities, including Spend Stretch, Loyalty Card Mailer, and Clubcard challenges.
  • Work closely with the Clubcard Reward team to analyze scheme performance, support review and renegotiation of terms with current and new Clubcard partners.
  • Evolve tracking and reporting across key Clubcard propositions, including Christmas Savers, Clubcard Plus subscription, and promotions with Tesco mobile.
  • Partner with the FP&A and Control teams to refresh Clubcard governance, addressing scheme updates, penetration, redemption, and breakage trends that impact the cost of the scheme.
  • Work closely with the Customer Insight team and dunnhumby to analyze Clubcard propositions post-launch, providing support on Tableau reporting dashboards or quarterly deep dives into performance for the Customer leadership team.
  • Lead Clubcard case papers for TAG and IC approvals.
Requirements
  • Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior colleagues across non-finance teams.
  • Advanced financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive analysis from scratch.
  • Commercial awareness and a keen eye for business.
  • Confidence to challenge colleagues, many of whom have a high level of experience in their field.
